Dr. Robert Stevens
Dr. Robert Stevens was born and raised here in Boise, Idaho, moving to Gooding, Idaho where he graduated from high school in 1970.
After spending some time in Scandinavia, he attended University of Oregon and then Portland State University where he graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Public Health Certificate. During this time he began his family, and with his wife, Maureen, had two children.
He attended Oregon Health Science University in Portland, Oregon, where he graduated in 1982. His family grew in size by one child during this time also.
After graduation, Dr. Robert Stevens returned to Idaho where he has been practicing dentistry in and around Boise. Two more children were added to his family during these years.
He thinks of his patients as a large, second family, and in order to better serve their dental needs Dr. Stevens has remained active in training for current dental procedures. In 2008 he received training and experience in implant placement and restoration. More recently, Dr. Stevens and his staff were certified in the use of dental lasers, including the Waterlase and the diode laser. His passion in dentistry is to help restore or create healthy, comfortable, natural looking smiles.
Dr. Robert Stevens has been active in voluntary civic service through organizations such as Rotary Club International and over 30 years service in various capacities with Boy Scouts.
He loves remaining physically active backpacking, mountain climbing, biking, skiing, and otherwise exploring and photographing Idaho’s amazing back country. Dr. Stevens enjoys sharing these experiences with children, grandchildren, other family and friends of all ages.
